Bassem Sfadi (died 2015) was a Palestinian Hamas terrorist. In 2015, he and Nidal Naama were sent by Taufiq Hammed's lieutenant Wali al-Abed to kidnap his cousin Dr. Shirin al-Abed's mother and force the doctor to perform an operation on captured Israeli soldier Boaz Capon. Days later, they were sent to Shirin's home to murder her for allegedly collaborating with the Israelis, and they were to dump her body in Almanarah Square. However, undercover Israeli agent Doron Kabilio was already at the apartment, where Shirin treated a gunshot wound from earlier, and he was able to steal Bassem's gun and shoot Nidal dead before interrogating Bassem about Hammed's location. Bassem revealed that Hammed was hiding in the Yassmin neighborhood of Nablus' old city, where he was interviewing suicide bombers, and he told Kabilio that the passphrase was to ask for "the Teacher." Kabilio then executed Sfadi and left with Shirin, telling her that her life was in danger.
