
Bassel Sha'aban Ubeid (1984-20 November 2006) was a Hamas leader.
Biography[]
Bassel Sha'aban Ubeid was born in 1984 and became a commander of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas. He fought against Israel during the Second Intifada in the early 2000s alongside other terrorist groups in Palestine. On 20 November 2006 the Israeli Air Force fired a missile at a Mercedes in the Shajiyia neighborhood of the Gaza Strip, killing Ubeid and 6 other people.
