Bashir Hammed (died 2015) was a Palestinian man and the brother of Hamas arch-terrorist Taufiq Hammed.
Biography[]
Bashir Hammed was born in Silwad, West Bank, just north of the Palestinian capital of Ramallah. The brother of Taufiq Hammed, he became engaged to Amal in 2014, and his brother - who had faked his own death to evade Israel's Mossad - came out of hiding to give his brother a wedding gift. Mossad attempted to assassinate Taufiq and Bashir's wedding after Ali Karmi revealed to the Mossad that Hammed was still alive, sending Doron Kabilio and Eli Daniel to infiltrate the wedding while disguised as caterers. However, Bashir's uncle Abu Khalil and Hamas commander Amjad Abu Khalef saw through the infiltration after receiving a phone call from the catering company saying that their employees got held up at a checkpoint, forcing the two agents to attempt to make their escape, holding Amal as a human shield. An enraged Bashir broke a bottle and charged at the Israeli agents, only for Boaz Capon to shoot him dead.
