Bartolome de la Serna (1684-March 1716) was a Spanish Navy officer who was stationed at the fort of Cabo de Cruz in southern Cuba during the Golden Age of Piracy. De la Serna was one of Bitores de Padilla's two sub-officers, and he assisted in the defense of the fort from Edward Kenway's pirate crew in March 1716. De la Serna fought Kenway on the battlements of the fort, and Kenway broke his defense before killing him with his two swords.
