
Bartlett Yancey (19 February 1785-30 August 1828) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-NC 9) from 1813 to 1817, succeeding James Cochran and preceding Thomas Settle.
Biography[]
Bartlett Yancey was born in Yanceyville, North Carolina in 1785, and he was admitted to the bar in 1807. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1813 to 1817 and in the State Senate from 1817 to 1827, and he died in 1828.
