Barclay is a town in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. Founded in 1873 as Merrikton, the town was renamed to Barclay in 1890 and had 183 residents (88.3% white, 9.2% Hispanic, 4.2% Native American, and .8% Black) by 2020.
