Bao Xin (152-192) was an officer of the Eastern Han. Sensing danger in the sudden expansion of Dong Zhuo's forces, he recommended to Yuan Shao that Dong Zhuo be dealt with quickly. However, he was not listened to. When the Anti-Dong Zhuo Coalition was formed, he participated, and though he lost forces along the way, he survived until Hulao Gate. Later, he was commanded to fight against the Yellow Turbans, and moved with Cao Cao to Qing Province. There, he was surrounded by enemies and died in battle.
