
Bao Xiangru (269-291) was a general of Jin China who was loyal to Sima Zhi during the War of the Eight Princes.
Biography[]
Bao Xiangru was born in Pengcheng Commandery, Jin China in 269, and he entered the service of Prince Sima Zhi as one of his warriors and senior officers. In 291, he joined Sima Zhi as he marched north to fight against Sima Yue's invasion of Pengcheng Commandery, fighting at the Battle of Shimen. In the ensuing battle, he was cut down by He Lun while attempting to escape.
