Banner Creighton (1880?-March 23, 1924) was a Scottish immigrant to Montana during both the Wild West era and the Roaring Twenties. He was a sheep herder who was short-tempered and is responsible for starting the 1923 Montana Range War with the Dutton family and other local cattle ranchers in 1923. On March 23, 1924, he was shot and killed by Sheriff William McDowell.
