Ban Zhengyang was a Chinese-American triad gangster who was affiliated with the Fung Hai Tong in San Francisco during the 1870s. In 1878, SFPD sergeant Bill O'Hara shot him in the leg after Ban attempted to prevent him from confronting his boss Zing Yuen.
