Baha'i is a religion which was established by Baha'u'llah in 1863, with origins in Islam. Baha'i people believed that Baha'u'llah fulfilled the Babi prophecy that God would soon send a prophet in the way of Jesus and Muhammad, believing that Baha'u'llah was this prophet; this led to the faith being persecuted since its inception. The faith believed in one God, that humans have souls, that all religions have essential worth as "one world religion, one people", and that the ultimate goal of the faith should be world peace. The faith believes that religion is orderly and progressively revealed by one God through manifestations, with the largest being Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, and Baha'u'llah.
