
Azzam Eid () was a Syrian Air Force pilot during the Syrian Civil War.
Biography[]
Azzam Eid was born in Hama Governorate to a Sunni Muslim family, and he joined the Syrian Air Force of Bashar al-Assad during the Syrian Civil War. On 23 April 2016, his MiG-23 crashed to the southeast of the capital of Damascus either from mechanical failure or the Islamic State shooting it down, and their Amaq News Agency released a photo of Eid as one of their prisoners.
