
Ayyubid of Damietta (1075-1110) was a general of the Fatimid Caliphate and a member of the ruling family.
Biography[]
Ayyubid of Damietta was born in the city of Damietta, Egypt to a noble family. A loyal commander, he would not disobey orders unless commemorated for doing so. Ayyubid fought against Fatimid Rebels in southern Egypt and also crushed the Sudanese, and was the commander of the army sent to capture Medina from the Arab Rebels. Secretly, he was a member of the Knights Templar, and wanted to find if a Piece of Eden was in the treasure room in the city.

Venetian assassin Clario Barberini, a member of the Assassins Order, was dispatched by his leaders to kill Ayyubid. He pushed a cart against the side of his home and set the hay on fire, setting the whole home on fire as well. Ayyubid was burnt to death while sleeping, with only a scream before the job was done.
