Biography[]
Ayu Sakurai was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1966, and she had a troubled childhood, as she was unable to assert herself, forgiving her friends even after they betrayed her. She later decided to become a dominatrix in order to practice aserting herself, but she continued to struggle with making her feelings known. On 12 December 1988, she was severely criticized by her customer Yoshitomo Kotake in public after she failed to abuse him properly, and Kotake told her that he might have to stop seeing her if she was unable to improve her dominatrix game. Fortunately for Ayu, the ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu had witnessed the conversation, and Kiryu defended her when two male passers-by, Shunko Okuno and Orinosuke Suga, verbally insulted her. An amazed Ayu then asked Kiryu if he could help teach her to abuse people, just as he had scared off her two harassers. Kiryu reluctantly agreed out of sympathy for her, and they went to a nearby park, where they play-acted the scenario, and Kiryu told Ayu to treat her customers as subhuman, to not be afraid to be abusive (as they were paying specifically for that), and to use unexpected situations (in their case, the children Yasunari Kanai, Masakazu Tanikawa, and Michi Sonoda watching them). Ayu then asked Kiryu to hide and supervise her second performance with Kotake, and, even when Kiryu was accidentally discovered, Ayu improvised by using Kiryu watching as another means to humiliate and please Kotake. After the session was done, Kotake praised Ayu-chan as a "queen" and promised to come back, and a grateful and proud Ayu gave Kiryu a fur belly warmer as a token of her appreciation and invited him to come back sometime as her customer.
