Aytun Faramna

Aytun Faramna (20 July 1959-15 February 1986) was an Iranian imam and a Pasdaran officer.

Biography[]

Aytun Faramna was born on 20 July 1959 in Isfahan, Persia to a Shia Muslim family, and he was a preacher before taking part in the 1979 protests that led to the Iranian Revolution. Faramna volunteered for the Pasdaran during the Iran-Iraq War to contribute to the defense of the new Islamic theocracy, and he was killed in action when his tank exploded on 15 February 1986 during an assault on Iraqi Popular Army positions.
