
Aylett Hawes (21 April 1768-31 August 1833) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-VA 9) from 4 March 1811 to 3 March 1813 (succeeding John Love and preceding John Hungerford) and from VA-10 from 3 March 1813 to 4 March 1817 (succeeding John Dawson and preceding George F. Strother).
Biography[]
Aylett Hawes was born in Culpeper County, Virginia in 1768, and he became a physician and plantation owner. He served in the House of Delegates from 1802 to 1806 and in the US House of Representatives from 1811 to 1817, and he died in 1833.
