Avery Carrington (7, February, 1935-1998) was an American real estate mogul and property magnate from Texas.

Avery was born and raised in Texas. As an adult, he became a wealthy real estate owner and property magnate. In the 1980s he expanded down to Miami, Florida with his associate, Donald Love. In Miami, he worked with Forelli Crime Family member, Tommy Vercetti. Avery was known for using things such as gang warfare to lower prices in areas, and he used this tactic a few times in Miami. He was involved in the bombing of a building that was under construction in Miami in 1986, Avery had provided the R.C helicopter that Tommy Vercetti controlled to plant bombs. He was murdered in 1998 in order to access his real estate plans. He was killed by Toni Cipriani under the orders of Donald Love. His body was put onto a plane belonging to Donald Love and was never seen again as it was eaten by Donald.
