Autonomous Left is a Marxist-autonomist political party in Chile which was founded in 2008. It was founded as the successor of the SurDA Movement, and its ideology was influenced by Antonio Gramsci. It sought to create a secular and modern political left, and they supported reformism over vanguardism. The party had its origins and its support bases at Chile's universities, and, in 2015, it was weakened when the Autonomist Movement split from the party. In 2019, it merged into Comunes.
