Autolycus of Rhegion

Autolycus (died 380 BC) was a Rhegian Greek admiral who served in the Syracusan-Rhegian War. In 381 BC, he was defeated at the Siege of Skyllition (Squillace), losing the city to the Syracusans; afterwards, his fleet joined forces with Archon Euphemios, and Autolycus led a failed amphibious assault on Rhegion (Reggio Calabria). In the ensuing battle, both generals were killed and their army massacred on the beachhead.
