The Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA) is a social liberal political party in Paraguay that was founded in 1978 as the successor of the Liberal Party and the Radical Liberal Party. The party was founded to oppose the 1977 constitutional amendment, which abolished term limits for the president. Since the end of Alfredo Stroessner's dictatorship in 1989, the PLRA took up a position as the main rival of the conservative Colorado Party of Paraguay.
