Austin Z. Wilsey (1853-1898) was an American outlaw of the Wild West. In 1898, he led a posse of rowdy criminals into the cattle town of Valentine, Nebraska, where they engaged in violent and drunken revelry in the streets, brawled in the mud, and shot several bounty hunters who attempted to collect their bounties, all as the Arizona Kid watched from a safe distance. He and his gang were later tracked down and killed as the Wild West was brutally tamed.
