Augustus Murrius Frugius (271-) was a Roman Army legionary who served in Constantine the Great's legions during the civil wars of the Tetrarchy in the early 4th century AD. In 312 AD, he fought at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, after which, according to early Christian accounts, he and Constantine's other victorious soldiers were brought down to the banks of the Tiber to be baptized as Christians in gratitude for God's supposed role in Constantine's victory over the pagan usurper Maxentius' army.
