
Augustulus Maecenas (349 AD-412 AD) was a diplomat of the Eastern Roman Empire.
Biography[]
Augustulus Maecenas was born in Philadelphaea (present-day Amman, Jordan), and was a natural born diplomat and Christian. He was recruited in the winter of 375 AD to be a diplomat of the Eastern Roman Empire. Maecenas died in 412 AD in Philadelphaea at the age of 63.
