Augusta U. Whipple (1847-1898) was an American lawman who served the town of Strawberry, Colorado during the Wild West era. In 1898, he and several other lawmen were shot dead by the murderous outlaw Little Pete while responding to Pete's brutal murders of local townsfolk.
