Assim Radwani (1992-) was an American Islamist activist from Hamtramck, Michigan. Born in Yemen and raised in the United States, he was torn between urban rap culture and conservative Islam as a child, and, while he dabbled in recording rap music in the late 2010s and early 2020s, he concurrently became involved in Islamic activism as a campaigner against gay rights in his community. While he was put on an FBI watchlist for his flirtations with Islamic extremism during the 2010s, including his occasional readership of AQAP's Inspire magazine, he remained involved in American civic life as an activist for the Democratic Party.
