Asra Panahi (5 March 2007-12 October 2022) was an Iranian-Azeri feminist activist. She was a competitive swimmer before taking part in the Mahsa Amini protests in her hometown of Ardabil, during which she and her schoolmates refused to sing an ideological song praising Ali Khamenei. In response, plainclothes police were sent to the school, where they beat them and arrested 10 of the girls. PAnahi died of internal bleeding at the hospital.
