Asparus Scaurus (371-439) was a diplomat of the Eastern Roman Empire.
Biography[]
Asparus Scaurus was born in Rome in 371 AD, a diplomatic genius with foreign interests. He was hired in 405 AD by the Eastern Roman Empire. Scaurus aided the Vandals in Spain by bribing the armies of the Goths that invaded their lands, disbanding most of the Gothic army that invaded Tarraconensis. He died in Tarraconensis in the winter of 439 AD at the age of 68.
