Asonides, son of Echëeus

Asonides, son of Echëeus (444-397 BC) was an Agyrian slinger who served under Archon Hermokrates during the Syracusan-Agyrian War of the early 4th century BC. He was killed in battle with the Syracusans at the Siege of Kephaloidion, near present-day Cefalu, in 397 BC.
