Asolfsskali was a Norse settlement in Vinland (southern Newfoundland) which was established in circa 870 AD. The Vikings who founded Asolfsskali came from a rival clan from the founders of Borgarholt and its associated colonies of Hafr and Kopanes, and minor clashes between the two clans resulted in the Battle of Asolfsskali, after which the Viking warriors of Asolfsskali drove the Borgarholters from the island, leading to their colonies being forgotten to history.
