Aslaug nic Imair was born in 849, the daughter of Ivar the Boneless and the sister of Sitriuc mac Imair, Sichfrith mac Imair, Barid mac Imair, and Guthfrith Ivarsson. She married Jarl Bagsecg of Jylland at a young age.
