Ascanian Phrygia was a Phrygian domain that embraced the Ascanian lake and the northern flow of the Sangarius river during the Late Bronze Age. Ascanian Phrygia was allied to Troy during the Trojan War, during which its leaders Otreus and Mygdon sent Ascanius and Phorycys to reinforce the besieged city.
