Asai Mitsutsune (1839-June 1867) was a Japanese general in the service of the pro-Shogunate Wakayama Domain during the Boshin War. In 1867, he served as one of Ota Shigetsune's sub-commanders during his invasion of Ise Province, and he was killed in action with the pro-Imperial Choshu Domain at the Battle of Kihoku.
