
Arybbas the Somatophylax (360-332 BC) was an Epirote nobleman and a somatophylax (bodyguard) of Alexander the Great. He was a member of the Molossian royal house, making him a relative of Alexander's mother Olympias, and he served as one of Alexander's lieutenants during his campaigns of conquest in Asia. Arybbas died of illness in Egypt in 332 BC.
