Arturo Ruiz was a Mexican sicario who served as Santa Blanca Cartel propagandist DJ Perico's bodyguard during the 2010s. Ruiz left DJ Perico's service after the DJ, while attempting to smoke marijuana out of an AR-15, accidentally shot Ruiz's dog Paloma dead. While working at the Pilca mine in Bolivia, he was apprehended by American special forces in 2019 and gave up Perico's real name, Marco Garcia.
