Arthur Joseph Serratelli (18 April 1944-) was the Bishop of Paterson, New Jersey from 6 July 2004, succeeding Frank Joseph Rodimer.
Biography[]
Arthur Joseph Serratelli was born in Newark, New Jersey on 18 April 1944, and he attended Seton Hall University and the Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. He became an ordained priest in 1968, and he served in the Archdiocese of Newark for years. In 1998, Pope John Paul II named him a Prelate of Honor. Serratelli was granted the titular Bishopric of Enera in Algeria, and he would become Bishop of Patersonin 2004 after Frank Joseph Rodimer's retirement.
