Arrichino of Genoa (died 1140) was a captain in the army of the Duchy of Milan and a member of the Knights Templar.
Biography[]
Arrichino was a Captain in the army of the Duchy of Milan, pretending to be loyal to the House of Rossi, but he was really a member of the Templar Order, and was part of their plot to assassinate the Venetian rulers in Milan and reclaim the city for both the Milanese and the Templars.
Death[]
Arrichino's plot was found out by assassin Raynucio Bianchetti, who wandered into his quarters and found him sleeping in his bed. Bianchetti produced a snake, one with poisonous venom, and slid it under the blankets of Arrichino. The asp bit Arrichino, killing him, and Bianchetti left the room.
