Arnoldo Ramo

Arnoldo Ramo (10 June 1964-2 December 2010) was the President of the National Assembly of Venezuela under President Ramon Solano in 2010.

Biography[]

Arnoldo Ramo was born on 10 June 1964 in Caracas, Venezuela to a wealthy family. Ramo had a net worth of $500,000,000 USD in 2010 coming from his role in the petroleum business, and he was known for his negotiating skills. Ramo was a friend of billionaire Ramon Solano, and in 2010 Solano appointed Ramo as the President of the National Assembly upon taking power as President that year. Ramo was effectively the head of government under Solano, but he answered to all of Solano's orders. Ramo was an influential politician in the country, and he was always under heavy guard during the time of the Venezuelan Civil War. On 2 December 2010 he was killed in an Allied Nations airstrike on a convoy of Venezuelan Army vehicles in the Amazon rainforest, where the Venezuelan command hid after Solano's death.
