Army Group B was a German army group that saw action in World War II. From 1939 to 1940, the army group was led by Fedor von Bock during the invasion of Poland and on the Western Front, and Maximilian von Weichs led the army group during the war with the Soviet Union. In 1943, Erwin Rommel took command of the army group when it was moved to northern Italy, and the army group later fought in France. Walter Model was the last commander of the group, leading it from 17 August 1944 to April 1945, and the army group was crushed in the Ruhr Pocket.
