Armel Barreau

Armel Barreau (1753-) was a Dominican friar from Paris, France at the time of the French Revolution. He was forced to submit to the Civil Constitution of the Clergy, and he was banned from wearing his religious clothing in public after 1790. However, he continued to wear this clothing in public in 1791, leading to several assaults against him.
