Ariyamna was an Armenian general in the service of Achaemenid Persia during the 4th century BC. In 333 BC, he led an army into northern Anatolia in a bid to prevent the Macedonian general Balakros from capturing Sinope, but he was too late to save the city from a Macedonian assault.
