Arinori Ishihara (born 1970) was a Japanese student who lived in Tokyo during the 1980s. On the night of 9 December 1988, while walking through Kabukicho, he was dragged into an alleyway by Yocchan Okagami's gang of hoodlums, who attempted to rob him before the yakuza Kazuma Kiryu interceded and beat down the hoodlums. A nervous Arinori then thanked Kiryu as he walked off with his friend Akira Nishikiyama.
