Ariarathes X of Cappadocia (died 36 BC) was King of Cappadocia from 42 to 36 BC, succeeding Ariobarzanes III and preceding Archelaus.
Biography[]
Ariarathes was the son of King Ariobarzanes II of Cappadocia, and he was of Persian and Greek ancestry. He became King of Cappadocia in 42 BC after his brother Ariobarzanes III was killed, but his rule did not last long, as Mark Antony had him executed in 36 BC and replaced by Archelaus of Cappadocia.
