Ari Shimshelewitz (1957-2008) was a Russian-Jewish mobster who was affiliated with the Petrovic crime family in New Jersey during the 2000s. In 2008, he and several other Russian mobsters were gunned down by the vigilante Niko Bellic in a Jersey City alleyway.
