Argus Bartlett

Argus Bartlett (1820-1868) was a member of the Blighters gang and the husband of Rose Bartlett.

Biography[]

Born a London in the 1820, Argus Bartlett was the husband of Rose Bartlett and a member of the Blighters street gang of London. The couple used their pub and resthouse "Bed and Bottle" to dispose of the gang's victims, and in 1868 Jacob Frye tracked them down to their establishment and set out to kill them. He killed Bartlett first, then Rose.
