Arden on the Severn is a census-designated place in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The area was previously used for mining and cultivation, but the miners and cultivators decided to remain close to and reside in the areas by the mines, especially areas closest to the beaches. In 2010, Arden on the Severn had a population of 1,953 people.
