Ardeche is a department in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of southeastern France, with Privas serving as its capital. Named for the River Ardeche, Ardeche includes the cities of Aubenas, Annonay, Guilherand-Granges, Tournon-sur-Rhône, and Privas, and Ardeche was a left-leaning department. In 2019, Ardeche had a population of 328,278 people.
