Archie Crane (1851-1899) was a Pinkerton agent during the late 19th century. In 1899, he and Agents Greg Orly, Walker Johns, and Michael Bunter were sent to the Shady Belle plantation in Louisiana to track down the Van der Linde Gang, but they were killed in a shootout with Arthur Morgan, who had just returned from Guarma.
