Archibald McBryde (28 September 1766 – 15 February 1836) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-NC 7) from 1809 to 1813, interrupting John Culpepper's terms.
Biography[]
Archibald McBryde was born in Wigtownshire, Scotland in 1766, and he later emigrated with his family to Carbonton, North Carolina. He served as clerk of the Moore County Superior Court from 1792 to 1816, as a member of the US House of Representatives from 1809 to 1813, and as a General Assembly member from 1813 to 1814. He died in 1836.
