Aram Yerganian (20 May 1900 – 2 August 1934) was a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation and one of the assassins in Operation Nemesis.
Biography[]
Aram Yerganian was born on 20 May 1900 in Erzurum, Turkey, Ottoman Empire. He served in Drastamat Kanayan's volunteer army in the Caucasus during World War I after witnessing the Armenian Genocide, and he joined the executive body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation. Yerganian first headed to Georgia, where he killed formed Azerbaijani Prime Minister Fatali Khan Khoyski, and in 1922 he assassinated Ottoman politicians Behaeddin Shakir and Cemal Azmi in Berlin, Germany. In 1927, after living in Austria and Romania, he moved to Argentina and died in Cordoba, Argentina at the age of 34 from tuberculosis.
