The Arakan League for Democracy (ALD) is a political party in Rakhine State, Burma that was founded on 27 September 1989. The party was banned by the military government in 1992, but it was re-established during the political reforms in 2012. In 2014, the ALD and the Rakhine Nationalities Development Party merged into the Arakan National Party.
